During this somatic based presentation, we will explore

  • Essential elements to create an environment in which inclusion can thrive, including trust and transparency
  • A framework used to deepen understanding of cultures in support of a deeper relationship with stakeholders
  • Actionable integrations participants can make between the impact of cultivating an inclusive environment and their daily functions

Speaker: Emani Richmond

As an associate consultant and facilitator, Emani assists and trains leaders, teams, and organizations to develop clear communication processes and leverage their people resources to drive toward cultures of inclusion. Emani brings a background working globally within educational institutions and experiences living internationally and navigating cultures to co-create culturally competent and inclusive workplaces with clients. As a participant in Teach For America, Emani developed a grounded and action-oriented philosophy in equity-based educational initiatives and leveraging community partnerships. Recent client engagements include organizations within the medical device industry, higher education, marketing, non-profits, and clients within consumer product goods.

Emani earned a Masters in Education at Relay Graduate School of Education, a B.A. in Communication Studies from Hollins University, and a certificate in Leadership Studies from the Frank Batten School of Leadership.
